Will H. Kinsinger Died on Tuesday
Will H. Kinsinger died at his home in Grundy Center Tuesday forenoon at 10:30. Advanced age and complications were the cause of his death. He had been in failing health the past few years but had been able to be up and about until the day before his death. He was 79 years old on November 3 of last year, and resided in Grundy county during all of his life.
Will Kinsinger was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Arend Kinsinger, among the early residents of Grundy county. The family resided on one of the county's best farms, seven miles southwest of Grundy Center. Following the death of his father, Will and his mother moved to Grundy Center and they resided together during the remainder of the mother's lifetime.
In 1923 Will Kinsinger and Nora Connell were married. They resided in Grundy Center during all of their married life. Up until two years ago, Mr. Kininger sold feed for livestock to farmers throughout the county. Checkers was his hobby, and he gained a statewide reputation as a checker player.
Surviving are the wife and one sister, Mrs. Kate Lynch. Preceding him in death were an infant brother and Grant Kinsinger, who died in Marshalltown a few years ago.
Funeral Services Friday
Funeral services will be in Sacred Heart Catholic church in Grundy Center at 9:30 Friday morning. The services will be conducted by Rev. Fr. Donald Weydert. Burial will be in the Grundy Center cemetery.--The Grundy Register (Grundy Center, Iowa), 14 April 1955, pg 1
