Mrs. Orin Baker Dies In Conrad

Mrs. Orin Baker, age 70, a long time resident of Conrad, died suddenly at her home Tuesday evening. Arrangements as to the time of the funeral service had not been completed Wednesday afternoon. The services will be at Sacred Heart church in Grundy Center, with burial in the Grundy Center cemetery.

Mrs. Baker had been in comparatively good health until only a few hours prior to her death.

She was born March 9, 1881, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel O'Connor, at Darlington, Wisconsin. She was married Feb. 8, 1900, to Orin W. Baker, in Grundy Center.

Surviving are her husband and two sons, Orin D. Baker, at Fond du Lac, Wis., and Edmund W. Baker, Webster City. She was preceded in death by two sons, Harry and Raymond, and one daughter, Margaret.

Also surviving are a brother, James O'Connor of Iowa City, and three sisters: Mrs. Margaret Hatcher, Duluth, Minn., Mrs. Clarence Brayton, also living in Minnesota, and Mrs. Helen Reinhardt, of Waterloo.
