Mrs. Peter Schrank's rites pending

Mrs. Peter (Alinda) Schrank, 85, 678 13th SE, died Thursday at a Mason City hospital.

Visitation will be at the Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel from 3 p.m. Friday until time of service. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Burial will be in a cemetery near Cedar Falls.

Mrs. Schrank was born Sept. 30, 1883, at Tripoli, Iowa, the daughter of Chris and Minnie (Summers) Schmidt. She attended Tripoli schools. She married Peter Schrank Dec. 4, 1901, at Tripoli.

They farmed northwest of Mason City. She later lived in Cedar Falls and Tripoli before returning to Mason City in 1960.

Survivors include two sons, Darrel of Mason City and Roger of London, Minn.; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of United Church of Christ, Tripoli.

Mrs. Schrank was preceded in death by her husband in April 1939; by a daughter, Mrs. May Colman; four sisters and five brothers.

Mrs. Peter Schrank's rites set

Funeral services for Mrs. Peter (Alinda) Schrank, 85, 678 13th SE, who died Thursday at a Mason City nursing home, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel.

The Rev. H. A. Stenberg, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery, Cedar Falls.

Organist will be Marie Barta. Soloist is Marilyn Bohnsack. Pallbearers are Richard Wineman, Harold Walkner, Dennis Walkner, Peter Colman, Merle Schrank and Thomas Colman.

Visitation will be at the funeral home until time of services.
