Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Locke funeral home where friends may call after 2 p.m. today for Mrs. Nellie Stevens, 86, of 1917 W. 3rd St. Mrs. Stevens died at 1 p.m. yesterday at the Park View Gardens Nursing Home of carcinoma.

Dr. Harvey A. Nelson, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Cedar Falls, will officiate at the services and burial will be in the Grundy Center cemetery.

Born July 17, 1882, at Grundy Center, she was the daughter of Newton and Emma Erickson. She was married to Fred Stevens on Jan. 1, 1903, in Grundy Center.

Mrs. Stevens was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cedar Falls and of the Pythian Sisters.

Surviving are her husband; one son, T. E. Stevens of 224 Berkshire Rd.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters.
