Funeral Here Thursday For Bruce Miller

Bruce Clinton Miller, 63, of Eldora, and former Grundy Center resident, passed away at the Eldora hospital Monday, December 12, from cancer.

The body was brought to the Ferree Funeral Home where funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. Rev. H. L. Holm, pastor of the Alice church north of Conrad will officiate. Burial will be in the Alice church cemetery.

Bruce Miller was the son of Charles and Nellie Miller. He was born September 26, 1903, near Menlo, in Guthrie county. He was married to Viola Price of Grundy Center at Creston on April 17, 1931. Mr. and Mrs. Miller lived in Grundy Center several years, then moved to Marshalltown where he was an inspector in the Lennox plant until failing health caused his retirement.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of the Town & Country Courts, Eldora, a daughter, Mrs. Peter Pierce Jr., of Cedar Falls, two granddaughters, two sisters, Mrs. Lena Earles of Newton and Miss Ruth Miller of Creston, also three brothers, Doyce Miller and Wilton Miller of Osceola and Charles Miller of Omaha. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
