Jeanette A. Plaehn, 84, of Waterloo, passed away April 26 at the Country View Care Facility in Waterloo. Funeral services were April 29 at the Country View Care Facility. Burial followed in the Reinbeck Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Country View Care Facility.

Jeanette Adeline Plaehn was born on March 14, 1920, the daughter of Peter and Edna (McCurdy) Plaehn. Jeanette became a resident of the Country View Care Facility in Waterloo in July of 1968.

Jeanette is survived by two brothers; nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and a sister.
