Phyllis A. Duncan, 74, of Reinbeck, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, March 9. A memorial service was held March 12, at the First Presbyterian Church in Reinbeck. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Reinbeck Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the discretion of the family.

Phyllis Ann Rold was born on Aug. 3, 1929, in Kirkman, the daughter of Wesley and Anna (Kaiser) Rold. After living in Harlan, for a short time, the Rold family moved to Salida, CO, where Phyllis attended school through the 12th grade. Following high school, Phyllis went on to attend the University of Colorado.

On July 10, 1948, she was married to Charles William Duncan. The Duncan family made their home in Wichita, KS, later moving to Reinbeck. Phyllis worked at Thede Greenhouse and later as secretary to the superintendent of schools for 32 years, retiring in 1989.

Phyllis is survived by her husband; a son; and brother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant daughters, and a sister.
