Leroy A. Moser, Jr., 82, of Reinbeck, passed away February 10, at the Parkview Manor in Reinbeck. A memorial service was held February 13 at the Union Congregational United Church of Christ in Reinbeck. Burial was in the Reinbeck Cemetery. A memorial fund is being established.

Leroy Alvin Moser, Jr. was born on August 20, 1921, the son of Leroy and Faye (McInnes) Moser. He grew up in Reinbeck, graduating from Reinbeck High School in 1939. He then attended Iowa State College in Ames. On April 26, 1941, Leroy married Rosalyn Robertson. Leroy entered the family publishing business. He and his family published newspapers in the communities of Reinbeck, Gladbrook and Conrad until retiring September 1, 2000.

Leroy is survived by his wife; two sons; two daughters; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister.
