Fred E. Coulter, 91, of Conrad, died February 5, at Oak Estates. Funeral services were February 10 at Conrad United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Conrad Cemetery.

Fred was born August 15, 1912, the son of Fred Earl and Verna O. (Kurtz) Coulter. He graduated from Conrad High School in 1929. He married Florence R. Waltermire on September 13, 1934. She preceded him in death on June 16, 1988. On January 7, 1989, he married Mary Belle Burgess. Fred was engaged in farming.

Survivors include his wife; a son; a daughter; a sister; a brother; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters.
