Funeral Services For JoAnn Schipper

JoAnn Marlys Schipper of Ackley, Iowa, passed away June 24, 1996, at her residence in Ackley at the age of 64 years.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 26, 1996, at the St. Peters United Church of Christ in rural Wellsburg, Iowa, with the Reverend Ronald Fisher officiating. Interment was at the St. Peters Cemetery, rural Wellsburg.

Born July 31, 1931 in Dike, Iowa, JoAnn was the daughter of Henry and Tille (Boelman) Krull. She attended the Wellsburg Community School.

On August 31, 1951, JoAnn was united in marriage to Bennie G. Schipper at the Presbyterian Church in Ackley, Iowa. She was a housewife and a loving mother of her children and grandchildren. Her special activities included enjoying her family, a love of flowers, cooking and baking. She was a member of the St. Peters United Church of Christ in rural Wellsburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Bennie; three daughters, Audrey Harms and husband, Vernon, of Conrad, Karen Stubbe and husband, Gregory of Ackley, and Linda Polson and Husband, Paul, of Des Moines, Iowa; brother, John H. Krull of Wellsburg; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild. A memorial fund has been established.

The Brandt-Fritz Funeral Home in Ackley, Iowa, was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
