Funeral Services For Mrs. Annie Huisman Friday, Dec. 17

Mrs. Annie Huisman, 78, nee Annie VanLoh, died at her home near Ackley Tuesday at 4:30 a.m. following a heart attack. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the home and later at Westfriesland Presbyterian church at 1:30. Burial will be in Eastfriesland Presbyterian church cemetery.

She was born September 21, 1870 in Grundy county where she had always lived. About 60 years ago she was married to Meint K. Huisman who preceded her in death November 30, 1938.

Survivors are two sons Jans and Sam of Ackley and nine daughters, Mrs. Lubert Janssen, Mrs. Herman Boelts, Miss Lizzie Huisman all of Ackley, Mrs. Olle Janssen of Austinville, Mrs. John J. Riebkes of Wellsburg, and Mrs. Geo. DeBoer, Mrs. Fred Johnson, Mrs. Joe Johnson and Mrs. Luke Spencer all of Ackley; 36 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
