Mrs. Ubbe Beving Of Ackley Died Monday

Mrs. Ubbe Beving, 73, passed away Monday in the Allen Memorial hospital at Waterloo of a heart ailment. Mrs. Beving, nee Elizabeth Bunger, was born April 18, 1875 in Grundy county. She was united in marriage with Ubbe Beving on Nov. 17, 1893, and the couple lived on a farm northwest of Wellsburg until moving to Ackley 20 years ago. Left to mourn her passing are the husband; five children, Mrs. Elmer Flessner, Mrs. Alvert Fritz, Harry and Arthur, all of Ackley; Joe of Guthrie Center, and 14 grandchildren. She was a cousin to Jerry Spieker and the late Dick Huisman Sr. of Wellsburg.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at one o'clock at the home and later at the Eastfriesland Church with services in charge of Rev. Calvin Siemsen. Burial was in the church cemetery.
