Services Held for Henry W. Lindaman

Funeral services for Henry W. Lindaman, 67, of Cedar Falls were held Monday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. at the Cedar Heights Community Presbyterian Church. The Rev. R. J. Dieken officiated at the services. Interment was in the East Friesland Presbyterian church cemetery near Ackley.

Mr. Lindaman passed away Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the Sartori Memorial hospital following an illness of several months.

He was born on December 4, 1890 at Wellsburg in Grundy County, Iowa, the son of William and Rina Lindaman. On November 22, 1916 he was united in marriage to Dena Oelmann in the East Friesland Presbyterian church.

For 15 years he worked for Viking Pump Co. in Cedar Falls until his retirement two years ago. Prior to working in Cedar Falls he farmed in Grundy County on his parents' farm.

He was a member of the Presbyterian church.

Survivors are his wife, a daughter, Elvina (Mrs. John Saathoff), three sons, William B. Lindaman, Vernon H. Lindaman, and Larry Dean Lindaman all of Cedar Falls; a brother, William W. Lindaman of Ackley; three sisters, Mrs. Fritz Frerichs of Santa Monica, California; Mrs. Varlo Gibson of Sac City and Mrs. Kenneth Eldred of Iowa Falls; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
