Mrs. Aielt Beving Succumbs to Illness
Mrs. Aielt Beving, nee Bena Roelfs, succumbed to a lingering illness at 7:30 a.m. Thursday in the hospital in Eldora. She had been sick for six years.
Born October 17, 1894 in Butler county, she grew to young womanhood in the parental home and married Aielt Beving December 1, 1915. They made their home on a farm in Grundy county.
In 1916 she joined the East Friesland Presbyterian church, and for nearly forty years has been a faithful member.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, John Myron of Ackley and Frederick of Wellsburg, and a daughter, Phyllis (Mrs. Thomas Crocker) of Long Beach, Calif., five grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Rachel DeVries of Parkersburg, Mrs. Anna Snittjer of Wellsburg, Mrs. Elizabeth Fisher of Boone and Hattie Roelfs of Minneapolis, Minn.; two brothers, Ben of Ackley and Rudy of Belvidere, Ill.
Services were held Saturday afternoon in the Eastfriesland church with the Rev. C. F. Siemsen officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
