Mrs. Tina Hietland Of Ackley Dies in Hospital

Mrs. Tina Hietland, a former resident of German township, died Friday at the hospital in Hampton. She was 89 years old.

Funeral services were held in the East Friesland Presbyterian church in German township Monday afternoon with Rev. C. F. Siemsen officiating. Burial was in the Eastfriesland cemetery.

Mrs. Hietland was born April 12, 1863, in Germany and came to Ackley 45 years ago. She was married to George Hertema, who died 30 years ago. Later she was married to George Hietland, who died 10 years ago.

Mrs. Heitland had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Albert Zacharias of Ackley.

Surviving besides Mrs. Zacharias is one other daughter, Mrs. Kathy Brass, Ackley, and a number of grandchildren.
