Funeral Services For Henry Younker To Be Saturday P.M.

Henry Younker, 45, was found dead at his farm home east of Ackley Wednesday evening.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 22 at 1:30 at the West Friesland Presbyterian Church, with William Seybert, student pastor of the church, and the Rev. Peter Eckhoff officiating. Prayer service for the family will be held at the Fritz Funeral Home at 1:10 p.m.

Final Rites Held Saturday Afternoon For Henry Younker

Henry Frank Younker, son of William and Dina Janssen Younker, was born October 20, 1917 in Grundy County on the farm where he lived all his life. Mr. Younker passed away December 19, 1962 at the age of 45 years.

He was baptized in the West Friesland Presbyterian Church which he attended all his life. He attended grade school in Grundy County and was graduated from Ackley High School in 1936.

Surviving him are his mother, Mrs. William Younker, with whom he made his home; two brothers, John of New York City, and Elmer of Ackley and two nephews, William and Robert Younker of Ackley.

Mr. Younker was preceded in death by his father on February 17, 1949.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the West Friesland Presbyterian Church with Mr. William Seybert, student pastor, and the Rev. Peter Eckhoff conducting. Prayer services were held earlier at the Fritz Funeral Home.

Burial was in the church cemetery.
