Funeral Services Held Saturday for Marjorie Kreimeyer

Marjorie Ann Kreimeyer, 14, died Wednesday, April 27, in Cedar Valley hospital in Charles City. She had entered the hospital a week before for treatment of rheumatic fever which she had over a year. Pneumonia then developed.

She was born February 8, 1941, to Mr. and Mrs. William Kreimeyer, near Ackley. Twelve years ago the family moved to a farm near Calwell. Marjorie, a freshman at Calwell High School, was a member of the Pilgrim Fellowship and president of the Girls 4-H club.

She leaves her parents; one brother, William, at home; two sisters, Lois, at home, and Mrs. Wilma Hughes, Philadelphia, Pa.; her aged grandmother, Mrs. Caroline Kreimeyer of Ackley, and many other relatives.

She was preceded in death by a brother in April 1935.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 30th at 12:30 p.m. in the Congregational Church at Charles City, conducted by the Rev. W. R. Thomas. Burial was in Westfriesland Presbyterian Church cemetery near Ackley beside her brother.
