Dick Rotgers Services Sat.

Dick Rotgers, who had been in failing health since June, died at the county hospital at Eldora Wednesday noon, August 18, at the age of 63 years and 10 months.

He was born to John and Hiske Rotgers, October 18, 1890, at Austinville. He farmed near Ackley until his retirement two years ago. For the past four years Mr. Rotgers had made his home with his sisters, Katie and Ruth Rotgers.

He is survived by six sisters, Gertie (Mrs. John) Shugar, and Miss Katie Rotgers, of Ackley; Mrs. Jennie Pohlman of Iowa Falls; Miss Ruth Rotgers, Ackley; Mrs. Edith Green of Steamboat Rock; Mrs. Hattie Boekholder of Ackley. Two brothers, Engelhart and Roger preceded him in death.

Funeral services were conducted at the home and interment was in the Westfriesland church cemetery. The Rev. P. H. Eekhoff was the officiating minister.
