Lillian Pabst Services Friday

Lillian Pabst, 83, of Emmett, Idaho, formerly of Conrad, passed away Sunday, October 18 at Emmett Hospital in Emmett, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held following services in Idaho on Friday, October 23 at 1:30 p.m. at the Johnston Funeral Home in Conrad with Rev. Robert Shreve officiating.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 6-9 p.m., and after 9 a.m. on Friday, at the Johnston Funeral Home in Conrad.

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.

Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Grundy Center.

Lillian was born January 13, 1909 the daughter of Mack and Ruby Lighter Hughes in Conrad. She graduated from Conrad High School in 1927. She attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls.

On February 14, 1931, she was united in marriage to Harry J. Pabst in Iowa. They farmed in the Grundy county area until moving to California in 1944.

She managed Sears Federal Credit Union in Inglewood, CA, and she retired from General Instruments Credit Union in Hawthorne, CA. At this time she worked with her husband in his antique and restaurant business. They moved to Emmett, Idaho in 1979.

Lillian was a member of the Emmett Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1970; 1 sister; and 3 brothers.

Survivors include a son, Jon Pabst, Emmett, Idaho; 4 sisters, Irene Long, Whitten, Margaret Zorn, Rome, Italy, Sara Thatcher, Liscomb, Betty Lynch, Conrad; 1 grandson, Kevin; and several nieces and nephews.
