Charlene L. Moler, 75, of Conrad, IA passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center, in Des Moines, IA. Memorial services will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, August 1, 2015, at New Hope Church, in Marshalltown. A luncheon will be held immediately following the services at the church. Interment will be at Conrad Cemetery in Conrad, IA, following the lunch. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service, at the New Hope Church. The Conrad Chapel of Anderson Funeral Homes has been entrusted with arrangements.

Charlene was born April 8, 1940 in Marshalltown, the daughter of Ray and Gen Morris. She lived her youth in Liscomb, where she graduated from high school. On June 18, 1958, Charlene was united in marriage to Gary Moler. Together they made their home in Conrad and were blessed with two sons: Roger and Kevin. Charlene was a member of Liscomb Church of Christ and also a member of New Hope Christian Church. Charlene worked at the Conrad Pharmacy for several years where everyone knew her as "Charlie". Charlene was an avid sports fan, enjoyed family gatherings, and shopping with her sisters. She treasured time with her family and thoroughly enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren's activities. Charlene also had a special place in her heart for her granddogs, Millie and Maddie.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons: Roger (Peg) Moler of Conrad, and Kevin Moler of Clear Lake; her grandchildren: Nick (Kimber) Moler, Lauren (Chris) Crawford, Megan Moler, and Rachel Moler; great grandchildren: Quinn, Chandler and Charley; sisters: Shirley Patterson of Eldora; Sharon (Bob) Lutes of Conrad; Connie (Dennis) Fulton of Waukee; brother-in-law Dale Moler of Green Mountain; many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, Gary; parents, Ray and Gen Morris, brother, Larry Morris; brothers-in-law, Clyde Patterson and Jim Rooker, sisters-in-law, Joyce Rooker, Jean Moler, and Garnet Morris; nephew, Rick Morris; and niece Diana Lutes Goedken.
