Carrie Horner Rites At Cedar Falls

Funeral services for Carrie May Horner, 75, of Cedar Falls, were held December 30 at the First Baptist Church in Cedar Falls. Burial was in the Stout cemetery.

Carrie was born October 14, 1916, in Stout, the daughter of Koert and Karrie Meyer. She married Harlan Horner on May 4, 1944, in Cedar Falls. Prior to retirement she was employed as a secretary at the Farmers Elevator, Bolser Corp., and Muni-Fac Credit Union.

She is survived by her husband, one brother, Oscar Miller of Parkersburg, and two sisters, Dena Rademaker of Stout and Jessie Conrad of Cedar Falls.

She was preceded in death by a brother Cort and four sisters, Alice Tapper, Marie Peters, Jeannette Grimm and Ann Sorenson.
