Blanche Lawless Services Held

Blanche Albertina Lawless was born September 21, 1913, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of August and Albertina Swanson Anderson. She passed away Tuesday, April 23, at Covenant Medical Center on Kimball in Waterloo, Iowa, having attained the age of 77 years, 7 months, and 2 days.

Blanche grew up and was educated in Grundy Center. She was employed by Lawless Jewelry Store in Grundy Center for many years. On October 14, 1986, she was united in marriage to Delbert E. Lawless in Grundy Center.

Blanche was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Delbert on December 4, 1986.

She is survived by one step-son: Dean Lawless of Dickerson, Maryland.

Funeral services were held Thursday, April 25, 1991, at the Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center, Iowa, at 1 p.m. Pastor D. Ward Young officiated. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Grundy Center.

The Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home, Grundy Center, was in charge of professional arrangements.
