Services Held For Tony Tasler

Tony C. Tasler, 86, passed away Thursday, February 28, at Villa del sol, N.H., of natural causes.

Services were held Monday, March 4, at the United Methodist Church in Beaman, at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Robert Shreve officiating. Interment was in the Oakland Cemetery in Beaman.

Tony, the son of Tony Sr. and Anna Lena Tasler, was born on October 10, 1904, in Greene County. He received his education in country school, in Greene County near Yale. Tony moved with his family to the Beaman area as a teenager, remaining in the rural Beaman area most of his life, moving to Marshalltown about eight years ago.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, and three brothers.

Tony is survived by one brother, Ernest Tasler, of Marshalltown, and many nieces and nephews.

Johnston Funeral Home in Conrad was in charge of arrangements.
