Burial at Lincoln C. For Henry Pruisner
Committal services were held at the Lincoln Center cemetery Saturday at 1:30 for Henry Pruisner, age 80, of Winnebago, Minn. and a former Grundy county resident. He died last Wednesday at a Crystal Lake, Minn. Nursing Home.
A service was held Friday afternoon at the Spencer-Davis Funeral Chapel in Winnebago, and the body was brought to the Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center that evening.
He was born May 25, 1889 in Grundy County, Iowa. He never married. The deceased was a veteran of World War I and a 50 year member of the American Legion. His family moved from a farm in Grundy county in 1916. He lived in South Dakota four years before going to Winnebago.
Surviving are four sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Fred Sweet and Mrs. Stinson Cegelinski of Winnebago, Mrs. Johann Goens and Mrs. John Goens of Clearwater, South Dakota, and brothers John and Maine Pruisner of Winnebago. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
Casketbearers were members of the Grundy Center Legion Post, Joe Hulne, Doug Arends, Claire Koobs, Martin Sharp, Bruce Newton and Robert Sprague. Flag presenters were Del Lawless and Clark Vaughan.
