Agnes Frederick Services Held
Agnes Frederick, 92, of Conrad, passed away Saturday, November 18, at the Oakview Nursing Home in Conrad, where she had resided for the past 8 1/2 years.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 20, at the First Presbyterian Church in Conrad at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Timothy Soule officiating.
Casket bearers were Tom Martin, Mark Smith, Brad Smith, Cordell Harris, Warren King and Gregg Sharp.
Burial followed in the Conrad Cemetery.
Agnes I. Frederick, the daughter of Burton and Margaret Pinckney Wheeler, was born July 19, 1897 in Marshall county. She graduated from the Conrad High School in 1916.
On January 7, 1922 Agnes was united in marriage to Ben W. Frederick in Nevada.
She was a longtime resident of Conrad. Agnes was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Conrad American Legion Auxiliary Unit #681, and had formerly been a member of St. Elmo Chapter O.E.S. 7398, the Entre Nous Club, the Tuesday Musical Club and Royal Neighbors.
Agnes was preceded in death by her husband in 1962, her son Richard, two sisters, one brother and her parents.
She is survived by one grandson, Michael Frederick of California; two nephews Dale W. Smith, Beaman, and Leon Smith, Marshalltown; three nieces Doris Martin, Conrad, Winifred Neasham, Arizona, and Darlene Sawyer of Florida.
The Johnston Funeral Home in Conrad was in charge of the arrangements.
