Rites Held For Patricia Muller

Mrs. Patricia Muller, 39, of rural Ackley, passed away on Thursday, August 24, at the Ackley Medical Center in Ackley.

Funeral services were held at the West Friesland Presbyterian Church, rural Ackley, on Monday, August 28, at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Lee Mashburn officiated.

Wayne Arends sang "Sometime We'll Understand," and "How Great Thou Art." The accompanist was Mrs. Stella Neymeyer, who also played selected numbers for the prelude and postlude.

Casket bearers were Carroll Miller, LeRoy Huesman, Gary Sherburne, LaVerne Seehusen, Douglas Neymeyer and Tim Schmidt.

Ushers were Neil Knoll and Eugene Harken. Mrs. Laurie Mashburn was in charge of the floral arrangements.

Interment was in the church cemetery.

Patricia L. Muller was born September 23, 1949, at Fairbury, NE, the daughter of Fred and Gertrude Erickson Becker. She graduated from the Grundy Center High School in 1968, and was employed at the Western Dressing factor in Grundy Center since 1969.

On July 13, 1973, Patricia was united in marriage to Eldon Muller at the United Methodist Church in Grundy Center. They lived on a farm near Ackley.

Patricia was preceded in death by her grandparents.

She is survived by her husband, Eldon, of rural Ackley; one daughter, Melissa, at home, her parents, Fred and Gertrude Becker, Grundy Center; one sister Joyce Weekley, Arizona City, AZ.

A memorial fund has been established.

The Doyen-Abels Funeral Home in Wellsburg was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
