Rites Held For Ella Wickers, 90

Ella Wickers, 90, of Waterloo, passed away Tuesday, March 28, at Covenant Medical Center on Kimball Ave., Waterloo.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 31, at Chapel of Memories, Waterloo.

Casket bearers were Harry Hemmen, Raymond Harms, Dale Stewart, Arlyn Hemmen, Kevin Stewart, and Tom Stewart.

Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Grundy Center.

Ella Wickers was born August 5, 1898, in rural Grundy county, the daughter of Wiggert and Delia Agena Wickers.

She was employed at Rankin Manufacturing, Cedar Falls.

Ella was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and Emil; and two sisters, Anna Hasbrouck, and Amelia Wickers.

She is survived by one daughter, Lavonne Wickers, of Waterloo; a brother, Ben, of Parkersburg; and two nieces, Byrna Stewart, of Parkersburg, and Doris Harms, of Aplington.
