Services Held For Louis Keehn

Louis Keehn, 81, passed away on February 2, at Lawton, OK.

Funeral services were held at the Stout Gospel Hall, Stout, on Monday, February 5, at 2 p.m. Evangelist Paul Elliott officiated and was assisted by Richard Van Mill.

Mike and Diane Van Mill sang "Does Jesus Care," and "Jesus Alone Can Save Me."

Ushers were Harlan DeGroote and Arthur Mulder.

Interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Grundy Center.

Louis F. Keehn was born January 22, 1908, in Starke County, IN.

He was married to Pearl Needham on June 20, 1936, in Cedar Rapids. To this union, one son, Jay Darrell, was born.

Louis was employed most of his life as an auto mechanic in Grundy Center and Stout. He moved to Walters, OK, from Iowa, in 1985.

Louis attended the Gospel Hall in Stout.

He was preceded in death by his son in 1974.

Louis is survived by his wife; a daughter-in-law, Emma Thurman, Walters, OK; two grandsons, Darrell Keehn, Altus, OK, and Kent Keehn, Lawton, OK; two great-grandchildren, Jay Darrell and RhaShonda Keehn, both of Altus, OK; one sister, Alma Cooper, Fort Wayne, IN; and by other relatives and many friends.

A memorial fund has been established.

The Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
