Rites Saturday For Mrs. Roy J. Misner
Services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Engelkes Funeral Home in Grundy Center for Mrs. Roy John Misner, age 88, who passed away Tuesday, June 29, in Seattle, Washington.
Mrs. Misner was born June 22, 1877, in Grundy county. The family moved to Waterloo about 50 years ago and from there Mr. and Mrs. Misner moved to Seattle, Wash., to live with their daughter.
The husband passed away Dec. 7, 1958, in Seattle. Mrs. Misner is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Glen Babcock, of Seattle; Mrs. Gladys Tow of Des Moines, and Mrs. Walter Mannatt of Los Angeles; three sons, A. R. Misner of Pittsburg, Penn.; J. Sydney Misner of Seattle; and David Misner of Chicago.
Services Saturday will be in charge of Rev. Harold Sparks. Burial will be at the Rose Hill cemetery.

Services Sat. For Mrs. John Misner
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Engelkes Funeral Home in Grundy Center for Mrs. John Misner from Seattle who spent the early part of her life in Grundy Center. She died in Seattle, Wash., Tuesday of last week.
Rev. Harold Sparks of the Methodist church conducted the service. Burial was in the Grundy Center cemetery. She was 88 years old.
Mrs. Misner was born June 22, 1877, in Grundy county and lived in this area until 1915 when they moved to Waterloo, then to Seattle.
She was preceded in death by her husband who died Dec. 7, 1958, in Seattle. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Glen Babcock, Seattle; Mrs. Gladys Tow, Des Moines, and Mrs. Walter Manatt, Los Angeles, and 3 sons A. R., Pittsburgh, Sidney, Seattle; David, Chicago.
