Services Thursday For Peter Engel, Reinbeck

Funeral services were held last Thursday in the French funeral home at Reinbeck for Peter Engel, who died in a nursing home in Waterloo. He was 89 years old. Burial was in the Reinbeck cemetery.

Mr. Engel was born Jan. 19, 1876, in Crystal twp., Tama county. He was married to Emma Marie Lage in February 1904 and she died in May 1945. The couple lived on the same farm which they purchased near Buckingham until they retired in 1920, moving into a new house in Reinbeck.

Survivors include two children: Mrs. James B. (Marion) Matheson, Buckingham, who resides on the home farm, and Raymond A. Engel, Marshalltown.
