Herman Vogt Dies In University Hospital

Herman Vogt, Reinbeck, died Saturday in the University hospital at Iowa City. Death was due to a heart condition. He was 66 years old.

The body was brought to the French funeral home in Reinbeck where arrangements were made. Services were in the United Church of Christ in Reinbeck on Wednesday afternoon. Burial was in the Reinbeck cemetery.

Surviving are the wife; two sons, Staff Sgt. Donald Vogt, Iowa City, and Leonard, Garden Grove, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Roscoe Jones, Reinbeck, Mrs. Raymond Backs, Garden Grove, Cal., and Mrs. Eldred Clark, Wheeler Air Force Base, Hawaii; two sisters, Mrs. Emil Tessau, Reinbeck, and Mrs. Bertha Meipi, in Germany.
