Mrs. Ubbe Jutting Died After Two Months' Illness

Mrs. Ubbe Jutting passed away Sunday morning at 10:15 at her home here of heart trouble and complications. She had been in poor health since last September.

Mrs. Jutting was born near Robertson, Iowa, May 23, 1862. When but a small child she moved with her parents to a farm near Cleves where she resided until she was married on March 23, 1883, to Ubbe Jutting by the Rev. John Van der Las at what is now the Rev. Engelke church in German township. To this union were born five children, one of whom, Mrs. Conrad Bauman, preceded the mother in death in 1928. The same year the husband died. The four surviving children are Will and John, on the home place near Wellsburg, Mrs. Henry W. Ross who was making her home with her mother at the time of her death, and Mrs. Folker Kuper of Ellsworth, Minn.

In 1917 Mrs. Jutting with her family moved to Wellsburg to spend her remaining years from their home in Shiloh township.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the house at 12:30 and later from the Rev. Engelke church with Rev. Engelke officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
