Mrs. W. F. Rhea Dies At Home of Daughter from Cancer

Mrs. W. F. Rhea died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herman Barfels, in Washington township Sunday afternoon from cancer of the liver. She had been sick for nearly two years.

Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church in Morrison Tuesday afternoon with the local pastor, Rev. Whitmore, officiating.

Mrs. Rhea was 72 yeas old. She resided in this county most of her life. The family lived on a farm north of Morrison for several years and later in the town of Morrison. For several months while her condition was becoming more serious she was cared for at the home of Mrs. Barfels.

Mr. and Mrs. Rhea celebrated their golden wedding anniversary just a year ago.

Surviving relatives are the husband, three daughters, Mrs. Barfels, Mrs. Lillie Hostetter, both of this county, and Mrs. Alice Weibly from Hollywood, Calif. There are five sons: Robert from Morrison, James who lives in Pennsylvania, John, who is in Florida, Bryan, Sumner, and Roy from Fredericksburg.
