Otto Fothergill passed away at his home in this city about nine o'clock Tuesday evening of this week (Jan. 27th) after a brief illness. He had contracted a severe cold a few weeks ago which seemed to weaken him very much, but he was not confined to his bed only a couple of days, being up and around the house most of the time. To all appearances he was getting along fine when he suffered a relapse that worked quietly and fatal.
