Mrs. Samuel Peck died at the home of her mother west of town Sunday morning from quick consumption. She was sick for only four or five months. Mrs. Peck was 18 years and 9 months old. Her maiden name was Mary Platt. About two years ago she was married to Samuel Peck. A baby eight months old came from this union. Aside from the baby and husband Mrs. Peck is survived by her mother, two sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services conducted by Rev. Brubaker were held at the home of Mrs. Platt Tuesday afternoon. Interment was made in Clarke's cemetery in this city.
