Sunday, the 11th, little Adolph, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Nordhorst, while playing around a corn sheller got his hand in the machine and received a painful injury. The wound was dressed and the little fellow seemed to be getting along nicely until the following Sunday when lockjaw set in and after twenty-six hours of suffering he succumbed to the attack, dying at 3:30 Monday morning, Jan. 19 at the age of seven years.
