Clarence Buffington Dead
Clarence Buffington died at the home of his brother, H. C. Buffington, Thursday evening, June 6th.
The funeral was held at the Woodman hall Sunday, conducted by Rev. Whitmore of the Presbyterian church and the service was conducted at the grave by the Modern Woodmen of America lodge, of which the deceased was a life long member. Interment took place in the cemetery south of town.
Among those from a distance here to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Luther Morrill, Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Lewis, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Mulder and Mrs. F. Mulder, all of Reinbeck; Mrs. Feezer of Mt. Carroll, Ill.; John Morrison and A. G. Briggs, Grundy Center; Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Hood and son, Dike; E. S. Barrick, Chas. Robinson and Mrs. Maude Downey, Reinbeck; Mr. and Mrs. P. R. Frazier and Mrs. Allen and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Frazier, Ames; Mr. and Mrs. Feezer, Oskaloosa; Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Elliott, Mr. and Mrs. John Misner, Mrs. Haines and Mr. and Mrs. Malvern Walker, of Waterloo.
