Mrs. Wm. O'Connor, Former Resident, Buried Here

Funeral services for Mrs. Wm. O'Connor were held at the Catholic church in Grundy Center Saturday forenoon. The services were conducted by Rev. Father Boyle. The remains were laid to rest in the family lot in the Catholic cemetery.

Mrs. O'Connor was an early resident of Grundy county. The family left here many years ago. She died at the home of her niece, Mrs. Gorgeson at Viborg, South Dakota, on December 23rd. The remains reached here Friday evening and they were taken to the Coffman mortuary. The niece accompanied the body here and remained until after the funeral services. Mrs. O'Connor's husband is buried here. He died many years ago. Her son, William, who was killed in an automobile accident in Minnesota a year ago is also buried in the family lot in the Grundy cemetery.
