Mrs. Fred Beckman Rites Saturday

Funeral services were at the Lutheran church in Reinbeck on Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Fred Beckman, who died at the University hospital in Iowa City on Tuesday night of last week. Burial was in the Reinbeck cemetery. She was 64 years old.

Mrs. Beckman had been in failing health the past three years. She was a patient in the Grundy hospital for a week and was then taken to the hospital at Iowa City where she died a week later.

Mrs. Beckman was born on a farm near Reinbeck March 22nd, 1892. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Tank. She married Fred Beckman June 27, 1911. They lived in Reinbeck and vicinity during all of their married life.

Surviving are the husband and one daughter, Helen, who lives in Farmington, Minn. There are 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Other surviving relatives are one brother, Henry Tank, and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Boege and Amanda.
