Obituary of Mrs. J. W. Bloxham

Annie Marie Bullock, youngest daughter of William and Mary Bullock, was born at Hamburg, Erie county, New York, March 8, 1848. When a small child she emigrated to Wisconsin and lived there until 1865, when they removed to Fredericksburg, Chickasaw county.

On Nov. 27, 1866, she was married to J. W. Bloxham and they then moved to a farm near Grundy Center, where they lived a short time and then moved to the farm where she lived until nine years ago, when they moved to town.

Eight children were born to them. All preceded her in death but two, Mrs. Edith Eygabroad and Fred W. Bloxham, both of Grundy Center.

Mrs. Bloxham united with the Methodist Episcopal church in 1868, and has always been a faithful and active member during her life, until age and affliction made it impossible for her to continue her activity. Mrs. Bloxham's health has been very much impaired during the last two years, and especially during recent months. On Wednesday morning, Dec. 14, she was stricken with paralysis and gradually failed until about midnight Dec. 22nd, she passed into the land of eternal rest. There are left to mourn this loss the daughter, Mrs. Eygabroad and family, the son, Fred W. and family, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, beside a large number of relatives and friends.

The neighbors and friends are sincere in their expression of sympathy at this time of sorrow.
