Willibald Katzer Obituary
Willibald Katzer was born in Austria June 15, 1882 and died Thursday at the home of his nephews, Fred and George Katzer, having reached the age of 68 years.
Services were held at the Johnston Funeral Home at 2 o'clock on Feb. 24 with Rev. Alvin Mitchell officiating.
Interment was at Alice Union cemetery. Pall bearers were six nephews, Frank, Earnest, Raymond, Joe, Charles and Robert Katzer. Music was furnished by the Alice Church quartet composed of Jack Hughes, Dale Bockes, Lawrence Klein and Orange Stover with Mrs. Clarke Brindle as pianist. They sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "Safe In the Arms Of Jesus." Mr. Katzer is survived by a sister in Germany, a brother in South Dakota, and several nieces and nephews.
