Mrs. Glenn Stewart Dies In Hospital

Mrs. Glenn Stewart died at the Allen Memorial hospital in Waterloo at 9:45 Monday morning. She was stricken with a severe heart attack at her home Sunday afternoon and she was immediately removed to the hospital. News of Mrs. Stewart's death shocked the community where she resided the greater share of her life and where there are so many friends. She was 57 years, 11 months and 12 days old at the time of her death.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Dike on Wednesday afternoon. The services were conducted by the local pastor, Rev. Runion. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, Dike.

After graduation from the Reinbeck High School she was married to Glen J. Stewart at Reinbeck on Dec. 4, 1912, and made her home there for the next two years. In the spring of 1914 the Stewarts started farming and moved to a farm south of Morrison. In 1919 they purchased and moved to their farm south of Dike, and this was their home until they built their present residence in Dike in 1942.

Mrs. Stewart was an active member of the Grant Rebekah Lodge, the Women's Society for Christian Service, and the Dike Methodist church, and her services will be greatly missed by these organizations.

Clausman, Herman Albert, Edward Albert, Mrs. George Specht, Henry Albert, Harry Albert, Charles Albert, Mrs. Hilda Ferguson, Alfred Albert, Mrs. Wm.
