Former Reinbeck Mayor Dies In Waterloo Hospital

Fred Davis, a long time resident of Reinbeck, died at a Waterloo hospital last Thursday morning. He was removed to the hospital after being stricken at his home Monday of last week. He was 74 years old.

Mr. Davis served several years as a member of the Reinbeck town council and as mayor of the town. He was employed in a Reinbeck hardware store several years.

Surviving are the wife and one daughter, Thelma Schneider, former Grundy county social welfare worker. The daughter came by plane from California and arrived here Thursday morning. Funeral services and burial were at Reinbeck Saturday.
