After residing in Wisconsin two years they moved to Grundy county, Iowa, where she lived the remaining 56 years of her life. She spent 49 years of this period in Grundy Center.

Mrs. Gibson was a mother of two daughters, Mrs. H. A. Lynn and Mrs. F. C. Erickson, who together with three grandsons and a great-granddaughter and an only sister, Mrs. Millie Ickes, of California, remain to mourn her departure, Mr. Gibson having passed away 41 yeas ago.

Forty-eight years ago Mr. and Mrs. Gibson joined the M.E. church in Grundy Center on profession of faith, during the pastorate of Rev. J. C. McGee.
