Obituary of Baby Alberts

Erma Faye Alberts, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Alberts, was born May 5th, 1924, and died March 23rd, 1925, aged 10 months, 2 weeks and 4 days. From birth the little one was handicapped by a delicate constitution and though every effort was made by the parents to help the little sufferer to good health, gradually it lost strength and gave up the struggle.

Funeral services were held at the Lincoln Center church by the Rev. M. Weeldreyer, pastor, assisted by the Rev. George Woodall of the Grundy Center Methodist Church, on Wednesday, March 25th. Interment was made in the Lincoln Center cemetery.

How brief the stay, as beautiful as fleeting,
The time that baby came with us to dwell;
Just long enough to give a happy greeting,
Just long enough to bid us all farewell!
