Wm. J. Quick Dead at Whitten

William J. Quick died at his home in Whitten on March 11th after a short illness. He would have been fifty years old on the 20th of next April. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Dorothy, two sisters, Mrs. Belle Burgess, of Alexander, Ill., and Mrs. Callie Mathews, of Temple Hill, Ky., two brothers, James Quick of Havelock, Neb., and Robert Quick of Temple Hill.

Burial was at the Benson cemetery. Funeral was held Friday from the Methodist church at Whitten, Rev. Soule of Union having charge.

Mrs. Blanche Filarsid, of Sioux City and Mrs. M. G. Fry, of Grinnell, sisters of Mrs. Quick were here for the funeral. All three sisters left on the evening train for Grinnell, where their father is very ill of pneumonia.
