Ronald C. Louck, 66, of Grundy Center, passed away of natural causes on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, 10:30 A.M. at the Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center with Military Honors being conducted by the Reinbeck American Legion Action Post # 242. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home in Grundy Center. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Ron was born on April 30, 1946 in Iowa City, Iowa. Ron was a very hard worker for many years at Family Foods in Grundy Center. He was an active member of the Reinbeck American Action Post #242. He was also an active member of the Ride-For-Soldiers Program. Ron was a simple man with a love of life and nature. He loved to fish, garden and grill-out. Ron put many walking miles on his boots. He lived every day to its fullest. His true joy in life came from spending time with his daughters and grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughters Dawn (Tim) Buchanan, Corinna (Troy) Smith, Tina (Wayne) Lafrenz and Jamie Louck and 11 grandchildren.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and grandson David Kalkwarf.
