Frances E. McCulloch was born at Buffalo, N.Y., March 1st, 1841, and passed away at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Eggert, southwest of Grundy Center, where she had been staying during the winter, on Saturday, March 29th, 1924, aged 83 years and 28 days.

Miss McCulloch came to Grundy county from New York in November, 1902, and since then has been living with her brother, H. B. McCulloch, on the Boies farm, near this city.

She has been an invalid since early childhood and her brother has cared for her every need since the death of their mother many years ago in New York.

Deceased was a member of Grace M.E. Church, of Buffalo, but owing to her impaired health has not been able to attend religious services for a number of years.

There are no near relatives living except the aged brother.

Judge H. B. Boies, of Waterloo, is a second cousin and he was here to attend the funeral which was held Monday afternoon from the First Baptist church in this city, Rev. David Alexander officiating. Interment was in the Clark cemetery west of town.
