Death of Harm Mennenga

Harm Mennenga died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Henry Cassebarth, in this city, at ten o'clock Saturday night, after having been sick for several months. Funeral services were held at the daughter's home at one o'clock Tuesday and at the German Lutheran church at Reinbeck at two o'clock.

Mr. Mennenga was 50 years, 10 months and 24 days old at the time of his death. He was born in Ostfriesland, Germany, and came to this country thirty-two years ago and lived at Reinbeck most of the time, until two years ago when he came here to make his home with his son, Cobus. Three weeks before his death he came to the home of his daughter.

The deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Henry Cassebarth and Mrs. Hazel Bleeker, of this city, and two sons, Cobus and Sievert, both of whom live here. The wife died in 1915. Two children also preceded the father in death. A large number of relatives and friends were in attendance at the funeral.
