Wilke C. Jutting Rites Wednesday At East Friesland

Funeral services for Wilke C. Jutting were conducted at the East Friesland Pres. church near Ackley on Wednesday afternoon, November 25, 1964. Rev. Lee S. Ferro officiated at the service.

Wilke C. Jutting, son of Casper and Trientje Jutting was born on August 22, 1880 at Cleves. He passed away on November 23 at the age of 84 years, three months and one day at the Ellsworth hospital in Iowa Falls where he was confined for a very short time.

On March 6, 1906 he was united in marriage to Martha Willems by Rev. Henry Schmidt. They lived on a farm near Cleves during their married life. On March 6, 1956 they were privileged to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary. Mrs. Jutting passed away in November 1963 and shortly thereafter Mr. Jutting entered the Presbyterian Home at Ackley. He was a member of the East Friesland Pres. church.

He leaves two sisters: Mrs. Jennie Cobie and Mrs. Tena Sherfield of Ackley, also three brothers: Tetus, Ubbie and John all of the Ackley community.

At the funeral service music was furnished by Mrs. Merlin Bangasser, Mrs. Gordon Fritz and DeAlda Bangasser. Mrs. Virgil Heetland was organist. Mrs. John Kolthoff and Mrs. Walter Harms were flower attendants. Pallbearers were Casper Jutting, Wm. L. Boelman, Thomas Sherfield, James Willems, Gerald Willems and Robert Willems. Ushers were Virgil Beving and Matthew Kannegieter. Interment was made in the East Friesland church cemetery.
